Everything Baby, Playing, Stuff For Kids

I’m really loving the effort on the part of green toymakers to incorporate green building into the latest dollhouse designs. Having kids play with these products and come to expect them in every home is an excellent educational tool for future generations.

The new “Green Dollhouse” from PlanToys comes loaded with all sorts of great eco-friendly additions. Not only is there a personal vertical-axis wind turbine up top, but there is also a solar cell panel with electrical inverter for generating electricity, a rain barrel for collecting water, a green facade to help control the appropriate temperature of the house, and a really cool shade canopy that can be pulled down preventing or allowing the wind and sunlight coming through. Of course, all of these things don’t really function for real — but just having them is incredible.

In addition to the dollhouse, you can also purchase the “Green Furniture Set“, which includes items made from recycled materials for the home. I’m in love! PlanToys hasn’t yet released the price for the set, but expect it to be north of $100.

It is indeed amazing that we can make use of it’s heat. To have energy for our homes and appliances and of course, to save! Solar energy panels really helped many people. It is very useful and reasonable in saving money. It is all natural and a green nature friendly.

The green dollhouse physical structure has a quite similarity as the Deluxe Doll House by Melissa & Doug, the dollhouse that my little girl got as a present from her grandmother. The green doll house is a wonderful idea to get kids thinking about the environment and educate them on how to be environmentally conscious. Also here is the link of the dollhouse I ‘m talking about http://www.mydollfurniture.com/dollhouses-ready-to-play-houses.html?page=0&sf=1&sd=d#sortblock the one with similarity in structure.

Catch them young! The dolls house does seem like a good way to make the children a bit more aware of renewable energy. Much better then giving them an iron board or tea set to lay with.
