We’ve been focusing a lot lately on organic stuffed toys — but I’m truly in love with what the folks over at MiYim have created. First off, their stuffed creations are oranized into collections — like “Fairytale“, “Peaceful Dreams“, or “Story Book“. Each one is so beautifully designed and crafted, that you may find yourself eager to pick up a few.

Their process for creating the toys is also one of the most stringent (when it comes to natural design) that I’ve ever heard of. Using a patented process called PureWaterWash, untreated cotton thread is woven into gently flowing fabric and brightened with nature’s own plants and minerals. The fabric is then hand dyed repeatedly in soy-water to set the color. As a result, each toy is unique depending in color appearance. As expected, all of the cotton used is certified organic by the OCIA and is free of herbicides, pesticides and toxins. In addition, every box your toy is sent in is handmade with recycled materials and encouraged to be reused for storing photos, keepsakes, etc.
