The best way for any parent to go green is to simply buy or receive used items. However, if after viewing the UPPAbaby 2009 Vista Stroller you find yourself reaching for your wallet, I completely understand.

What’s so cool about the Vista is that it’s essentially two products in one. You get both a bassinet and seat — which are interchangeable. New to this year’s model, the bassinet is fully lined with organic soybean fiber and cotton. There’s also a pop-out SPF 50 canopy extension with 30% more sun coverage, zip-in weather shield and mesh bug/sun shield, and tons of room for backpacks, cell phones, etc.

UPPAbaby’s commitment to sustainability also extends to their business practices. They recycle materials from old and used strollers, donate gently-used strollers to charity, extensively recycle cardboard, and strive to reduce energy consumption and transportation costs.

But hey — we dig baby products that are easy to lug around, a cinch to setup, and gentle on the planet. UPPAbaby rocks all three categories. Check out their full list of products here.
